That's not supposed to happen! I'm sticking to plan, I'm tracking everything and I'm aching from spending so much time on the wii fit - and yet, according to the scales, I've put on THREE pounds?!!! Now I know the whole muscle vs fat routine and yes I have been doing a lot of toning and yoga but hell, it doesn't work that quickly! I only started on Saturday!
All I know is that these lbs had better have vamooshed by friday or else!

22nd Jan!
The scales are still going in the right direction, which can only be a good thing! I'm hoping to be able to log a really nice loss tomorrow. I'm hoping to be back at my pre-Xmas weight again asap! Hurray!
I was a bit reckless yesterday at Cafe Nero - I had a skinny hazelnut latte, which was delicious, and a lemon and poppy seed muffin. A whole SEVEN points of muffin! Oh dear!
Thankfully it filled me up and so I only had cereal for lunch. At the play barn in the afternoon I just opted for scrambled egg on toast. Seems to have worked as I've lost again. Official weigh in day tomorrow though!

Tuesday - less than a month to go!
Ssshhhh, I'd put on a lb over the weekend and yesterday morning the scales were not my friend. But, thankfully, after an angelic day yesterday I have lost it again! hurrah! That leaves me til Friday to make some good inroads into the lbs that need to go! It's now just less than a month until we go to Spain and I'm finding that to be a really good motivation.
Tomorrow maybe a little challenging though. I'm meeting a friend for coffee in the morning. Recently we have been going to Starbucks and I've been fine with a skinny latte and a skinny muffin but tomorrow we are off to cafe nero instead. I'm not sure whether to have brekky first and avoid the food completely or whether to not have anything first and then opt for the lowest point option when I get there. I'll have a look on the WW online listings later on I think and take it from there.
Then, tomorrow night, my hubby has a parents' evening so I am taking the bean to a play barn with a friend. No doubt we'll end up eating there too......I'm planning to have scrambled egg on toast I think. They do serve soup, but it's not wonderful and I want to stay clear of the fried options. So, that's my plan. Now all I have to do is stick to it! Think Spain! Think Spain!!!

Sunday 18th Jan
It's going well - I think! I've not been on the scales but I'm feeling much better. My tummy feels slimmer and I've got more energy! Hurray! Wii Fit should arrive this week too - can't wait!
I've had a WW veggie curry for lunch in work today, it was delicious so I may do that again next week. I am getting very hungry now though so I may go and put the kettle on!

16th Jan
I lost one and a hlaf pounds this week and I should be ecstatic, but I'm not. I'm just so frustrated at having to lose the weight that I'd already lost - again. Darn Xmas excesses. I've swapped the maltesers for grapes which seems to be helping and the Wii fit should arrive in the next week too. Been for a walk in town today which was some activity points. Need to be careful over the weekend though!

I've little to say other than Maltesers are the work of the devil! The scales said I'd stayed the same this morning, well the second time I got on them anyway, and tonight we are headed to pizza express which I'm sure will not help in the slightest - oh and I'm about to go to starbucks for lunch. bugger. Oh well, it will taste nice and I'm not planning to splurge too much. it's a special day. The soup will still be there tomorrow :)

Finally I am feeling more positive! About weight loss at least, sadly the rest of life isn't feeling so wonderful right now. Still, Aunt Flo has indeed arrived and been absolute hell for the last couple of days but I'm not so swollen or in pain today and the scales are starting to go down too. Not enough that I'd be able to record a loss if weigh in day was today but I'm hoping that by Friday they will have. Having weighed mid week I'd managed to gain a ridiculous 6 lbs - just goes to show that the monthly cycle can have a major effect on what the scales say!
Today I've had porridge and a banana so far and it's 1pm. I'm not hungry yet. I've soup in for lunch and I've made a stew for dinner tonight. I suppose I should have lunch soon.....it really does make a difference when I eat something more filling for breakfast. If I'd just had cornflakes or toast I would have been tempted by the biscuit tin by now. I must remember that and try to do the same again tomorrow!
